This update brings Automation Bridge, a new way for Yasan Launcher and third-party apps to communicate, and more.
Automation Bridge
Automation Bridge allows Yasan Launcher and third-party apps such as Tasker to communicate through Android broadcasts.
Reasoning
While Yasan Launcher does support some automation features natively and will support more in the future, it cannot provide the same number of automation features and control as a fully fledged automation app.
Automation Bridge allows power-users to set up any complex automation they are missing natively, while I can focus more on the core functionality of the launcher and in general more common use-cases. This will benefit everyone.
Available Functionalities
There are four types of features that Automation Bridge supports:

Using the features above with Tasker , you can do things such as:
- Automatically turn off your smart lights if you switch to Night Space
- Automatically change the active Space based on location without giving Yasan Launcher location permissions
- Update Yasan Launcher settings by performing gestures
And pretty much anything else you can think of…!

Availability
Automation Bridge is publicly available on Yasan Launcher 26.32-4577 and later.
Public Roadmap
Yasan Launcher now has a public roadmap and issue tracker where you can follow what is happening with the project and report issues, feedback, or suggestions.
While the public roadmap is a bit empty at the moment, it is only due to me not adding all the planned features there yet.
What’s Next
I am already working on some additional improvements for Automation Bridge, but there are many more features planned for the future. You can always check the public roadmap for updates.
