This update brings new ways of customizing your home for each space, advanced gesture support, notification dot customization, a built-in Reddit search engine, and more.
Improved Third-Party Widget Support
Third-party widget support used to be limited to Dashboard. With this update, you can now add them to the home grid as well. Previously, this was only possible for the built-in Yasan Widgets.
Space-Based Home Widgets
The home grid content used to be static and stayed the same across spaces. With this update, the home grid content is now space-specific by default. Anytime you add a widget to the home grid, it will only pin in the current active space.
If you want to make a widget always pinned regardless of the space, you can do so by long-pressing the widget and selecting the Always Pin option.
Space-Based Wallpaper Visibility
You can now also disable wallpaper for individual spaces.
Gestures
Gestures can now be fully customized through the brand new Gesture Settings screen. There are now 13 gestures and 7 actions to choose from. The gesture options are 1- to 3-finger swipes in every direction, plus double-tap.
The gesture actions below are now available to trigger when a gesture is recognized:
- Sleep: Puts the device to sleep.
- App: Opens a specific app.
- Space Picker: Opens the space picker sheet.
- Search: Opens the search page.
- Dashboard: Opens the dashboard sheet.
- Assistant: Opens the default system assistant.
- Notification Panel: Expands the notification panel.
In-App Release Notes
You can now see the release notes for each version directly from the app through the new Release Notes screen.
Note that not every release will have a corresponding release notes entry as it may not have any significant changes.
Other Notable Changes
- Enabling the grayscale theme setting now also makes app icons and Yasan widgets grayscale.
- Notification dot color can now be customized.
- Space picker now prioritizes the space with active schedules and shows a badge for it.
- Pinned apps are now positioned consistently regardless of intelligence data.
- New alphabetic sorting option for folders.
- Per-space app visibility options now show the target space’s icon alongside the pin and hide icons.
- Added Reddit as a built-in search engine.
- The app store result now appears as the last item in search.
- Intelligence memory screen now lets you filter memories by type.
- Tapping the date on Glance now opens the calendar app instead of the clock app.

Availability
The Nomadic Update features are available on Yasan Launcher version 26.07-4533 and later.
What To Expect Next
There are going to be two changes to how updates are handled:
- Public updates are going to be more frequent and without being tied to major feature drops. Major user-facing changes will still be released alongside blog posts like before.
- Version names are going to start using week numbers instead of month numbers (YY.MM to YY.WW).
